The Coconut Creek Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 50-38 to Hollywood Hills. Coconut Creek was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Coconut Creek's loss came despite strong showings from Nash Youte and Guygee Joseph. Youte scored 19 points, while Joseph scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Coconut Creek dropped their record down to 2-16 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hollywood Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
Coconut Creek will head out on the road to take on the Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Coral Springs will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak. As for Hollywood Hills, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
