There's no place like home for Darlington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-29 win over the Lakewood Gators. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 28 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lakewood saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lauryn Nesmith posted ten points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Shareanna McFadden, who put up three points and eight rebounds.

Darlington pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Lakewood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Darlington and McBee will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Lakewood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-22 defeat against Lexington on the 21st.
