Cristo Rey St. Martin had lost five straight headed into Wednesday's contest, but Anthony Ceniceros didn't let it get to six. The CRSM came out on top against the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Ceniceros, who had 24 digs. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last six times he's played.

The victory didn't come easy: Rochelle Zell Jewish scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Cristo Rey St. Martin's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Cristo Rey St. Martin has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Providence Cristo Rey on the 12th. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
