Brookfield Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddie Leschig, who scored 25 points. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Luci Jensen, who scored 23 points.
University School of Milwaukee has fallen quite a ways from their 17-6 record last season and are now at 0-4. As for Brookfield Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
University School of Milwaukee is on the road again on Saturday and play against Manitowoc Lutheran at 10:45 a.m. on January 6th. One thing working in Manitowoc Lutheran's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Brookfield Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
