Zavala has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Brieza Rojas was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Marissa Castillo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
