The Empire Ravens scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Catalina, posting a 58-21 win at home. That looming 58-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Empire yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Empire to victory, but perhaps none more so than JENNA RIDLEY, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. RIDLEY is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. TALISSA DURAN was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Empire's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-18. As for Catalina, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Empire will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catalina, they will head out on the road to take on the Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
