The Amplus Academy Archers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. Their rough 74-51 loss to Eldorado might stick with them for a while.
Despite the loss, Amplus Academy still got an impressive performance from Cody Clark, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. Armand Nahabedian was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Leading Eldorado to victory were Eric Lechuga and Kamarion Durant. Lechuga dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Durant scored 17 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Durant posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Murillo, who scored five points along with five steals.

Amplus Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Clark at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clark presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Amplus Academy in Nevada (Clark is ranked 23rd, while Amplus Academy is ranked 92nd).
