If Greenbrier West was riding high  fresh off their  12-0 takedown of Mount View last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers fell  7-4 to the Wahama White Falcons on Wednesday. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
 Brilee Redden was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Redden wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brooke Patterson, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. Patterson has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  stolen bases the last three times she's  played.
Greenbrier West's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Wahama,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 28-6.
As of now, neither Greenbrier West nor the White Falcons have any future games scheduled.
