Chicago Hope Academy can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past Holy Trinity 55-22 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Chicago Hope Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Chicago Hope Academy was led to victory by Janessa Centeno and Amoria Allen. Centeno scored 12 points along with three steals, while Allen dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Allen hasn't dropped below three steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Tiana Simmons, who scored four points along with two blocks.
Chicago Hope Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Holy Trinity, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Chicago Hope Academy will take on Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
