The Eastern Randolph Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Trinity, posting a 54-8 victory at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Eastern Randolph as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Eastern Randolph was led to victory by Kenly Whitaker and Ziera Watson. Whitaker scored 13 points along with eight steals, while Watson scored 19 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Watson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Callie Craven, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Eastern Randolph's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13. As for Trinity, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Eastern Randolph will square off against Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity, they will be playing at home against Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randleman is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
