Pensacola Christian Academy's loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Matthew Johnson and Quincy Williams. Johnson scored 14 points along with nine rebounds, while Williams scored 16 points along with three steals. The contest was Williams' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Stoodt, who scored eight points.
Pensacola Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Baker, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pensacola Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pensacola Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Pensacola Catholic is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Baker, they will head out on the road to face off against Aletheia Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Aletheia Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Thursday.
