In what's become a running theme this season, the IDEA Bluff Springs Bats gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sci-Tech Prep 34-7 at home. The team accrued 31 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
IDEA Bluff Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samantha Saucedo-Palencia, who scored 15 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Saucedo-Palencia has scored at least a third of IDEA Bluff Springs' points. Another player making a difference was Hope Saenz, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
The win (which was IDEA Bluff Springs' third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.33 points. As for Sci-Tech Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
IDEA Bluff Springs will head out on the road to take on Sci-Tech Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sci-Tech Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
