It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Highlands can now relate to. They came up short against the Central Valley Warriors on Friday, falling 34-10. The Golden Rams' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Central Valley found their leader in sophomore Ethan Ondrusek, who rushed for 81 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Ondrusek also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending one pass.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Central Valley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Valley, they will square off against Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Saints have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
