After soaring to 58 points the game before, the Wesclin Warriors were a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 44-19 walloping at the hands of Okawville. Wesclin has not had much luck with Okawville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Alayna Kraus was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals for Okawville. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Wienstroer, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Wesclin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Okawville, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.
Wesclin will head out on the road to take on Althoff Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Okawville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
