The North Forrest Eagles lost against the Richton Rebels on January 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Forrest fell 43-35 to Richton.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dakota Amos, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Daylin Carter, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
North Forrest has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Richton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.
North Forrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richton will be playing at home against Mize at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mize will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while Richton is ranked 113th).
