South Harrison was led to victory by Hope Woods and Halle Bland. Woods scored 22 points along with two steals, while Bland scored 20 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Woods has scored all season. Adalee Wright was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
South Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Magnolia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
South Harrison will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Magnolia on the road again on Saturday and play against Beallsville at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th.
