Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Day School). They blew past the Parkland Mustangs 21-4 on Wednesday. The Cougars not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since February 25th.
 Emerson Amrich was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Patrick Reynolds was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Turner Mitchell, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Calvary Day School  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only managed three  hits.
The  win was  the fifth in a row for Calvary Day School, bringing their record up to 8-6. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Parkland, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with the  loss, which was their 16th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Day School will venture away from home to  take on Westchester Country Day  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17  runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Parkland, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Glenn  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
