The Hubbard Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennedy. Hubbard has not had much luck with Kennedy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Kennedy to victory were Joseph Dahl and Michael Gallas. Dahl scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, while Gallas dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Gallas hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Roberto Guzman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Hubbard has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Kennedy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-11.
Hubbard will head out on the road to face off against Catalyst-Maria at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Muchin College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Muchin College Prep is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
