Meanwhile, Annapolis made easy work of Robichaud on Wednesday and carried off a 22-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Brooke Bianchi 2025 made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season.
In other batting news, Annapolis let Joselle Grimm 2026 and Alexis Mousseau 2028 run wild. Grimm 2026 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double, while Mousseau 2028 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. With that strong performance, Grimm 2026 is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Cadzow 2026, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Annapolis lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Redford Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Annapolis, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
