The Oak Grove Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 33-28 victory over Starkville on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Oak Grove sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Oak Grove can attribute much of their success to Damari Jefferson, who picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also threw for three yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Oak Grove's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Starkville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
Oak Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Starkville also has no future games currently scheduled.
