The Camden County Bruins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-49 win over Perquimans. That's another feather in the cap for Camden County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Camden County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Chopek out in front who scored 16 points. The game was Chopek's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Carrion, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Perquimans, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cape Hatteras at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Cape Hatteras focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 last Thursday. Perquimans will be home for the holidays to greet Ocracoke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
