Softball Recap: Hudson Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Hudson had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-4 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the River Falls Wildcats by a score of 8-3. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

As for River Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For River Falls' part, AVA LARSEN was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that LARSEN has hit this season.

Hudson will have a chance to go back-to-back against River Falls: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
