Cloverleaf is 8-2 against Ravenna since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Colts will head out to square off against the Ravens at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Cloverleaf put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Coventry as they made off with a 17-11 win. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Alyson Croft made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cloverleaf got a massive performance out of Aubrey Willig, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Kennedie Prok was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Ravenna can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Woodridge a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Ravens' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Like Cloverleaf, Ravenna also got a great game from a two-way player: Jocelynn Smallwood. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Smallwood was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Savanna McKeown, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Mallory Sterba also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Ravenna's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Cloverleaf, their record now sits at 8-5.
Ravenna's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cloverleaf has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. It's a different story for Ravenna, though, as they've only averaged .312. Will they be able to contain Cloverleaf's hitters?
Everything went Cloverleaf's way against Ravenna in their previous matchup on April 6th, as Cloverleaf made off with a 13-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
