The Oakwood Academy Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Monday after their third straight  defeat. They took a  64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Columbia. If Oakwood Academy was looking for revenge after losing  61-58 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 When it comes to explaining why Oakwood Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Will Lewis. Despite the final result, he  dropped  a double-double on 28 points and 16  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Lewis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chris Callendar, who  scored four points along with seven  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Oakwood Academy  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only  an  assist. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Oakwood Academy has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Columbia, their victory  ended a seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-22.
 Oakwood Academy will take on the Tigers at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Valley Head has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Tigers at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Grissom presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in Alabama (the Tigers are ranked 23rd, while the Eagles are ranked 237th).
