The Bixby Spartans waltzed into Thursday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Will Rogers College at home to the tune of 83-51. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-14.
Despite the loss, Will Rogers College saw an underclassman step up: Dkarrion Titsworth scored 16 points along with five steals. Titsworth is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Terence Buckley, who scored eight points.
Bixby's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Will Rogers College, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Bixby will be playing at home against Southmoore at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Will Rogers College won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tulsa CHEF at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. Tulsa CHEF comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
