Satellite's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyna Lora, who scored 4 points along with 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sydney Logsdon, who scored 11 points.
Vero Beach's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Satellite, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Vero Beach's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln Park Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 6th. Lincoln Park Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vero Beach in Florida (Lincoln Park Academy is ranked 68th, while Vero Beach is ranked 212th). Satellite won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Astronaut comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
