Max Mcclure continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Braylen Dezarn was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to post ten more assists than your opponent, a fact West Henderson proved on Friday. They walked away with a 71-63 victory over Pisgah. Given West Henderson's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Pisgah is ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
West Henderson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Truitt Manuel led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Jackson Lyda, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for West Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
