The Harmony School of Excellence Hawks lost against the Alice Coyotes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Harmony School of Excellence took a serious blow against Alice, falling 78-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harmony School of Excellence in their matchups with Alice: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Alice to victory were Calvin Villanueva and Dylan Rivera. Villanueva scored 20 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Rivera scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rivera has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alejandro Asevedo, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Harmony School of Excellence has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Alice, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-11.
Harmony School of Excellence will be playing at home against Tuloso-Midway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuloso-Midway is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, so Harmony School of Excellence is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Alice, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent on Tuesday. Hopefully Alice focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
