Woodland Regional put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Naugatuck Greyhounds 56-28. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodland Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Pringle, who picked up 141 receiving yards and three TDs. Pringle is crushing it when it comes to receiving yards: he's posted at least 110 every time he's taken the field this season. Jack Brunetti was another key signal caller, throwing for 238 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes.
Woodland Regional didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Naugatuck to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. Given Brunetti's standout performance, it's clear the Greyhounds' secondary just wasn't on the same level.
