Mercedes scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Dr. Krop's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
