Make it ten blowout wins for the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Providence Hall 67-35 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Judge Memorial Catholic who now have six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Judge Memorial Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makena Gardner, who scored 15 points along with six assists and four steals. Gardner hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Esther Analjok was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Providence Hall's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ireland Anderson, who scored 11 points, and Paige Krebs who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Judge Memorial Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Providence Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Judge Memorial Catholic will square off against the Soaring Eagle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juan Diego Catholic has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Providence Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Parowan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday.
