The Parkville Knights lost against the Loch Raven Raiders back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Parkville was beaten by Loch Raven 62-27. Parkville has struggled against Loch Raven recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Loch Raven's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Meona Boykin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Maya Gordon was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Parkville's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Loch Raven, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Parkville will look to defend their home court on Monday against New Town at 5:30 p.m. New Town presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Parkville in Maryland (New Town is ranked 53rd, while Parkville is ranked 222nd). As for Loch Raven, they will head out on the road to square off against Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Loch Raven focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday.
