Basketball Recap: Terry Sanford Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Terry Sanford extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaidiah Blake. Everything went the Terry Sanford Bulldogs' way against the Rolesville Rams on Saturday as the Terry Sanford Bulldogs made off with a 75-50 win thanks in part to Blake, who went 12 of 20 en route to 28 points along with six boards and six steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played.

Amya Harrington was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caitlyn Jones, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Matthews, who scored 13 points.

Terry Sanford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.4 points. As for Rolesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terry Sanford will welcome Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terry Sanford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rolesville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Knightdale at 6:15 p.m. Knightdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season.
