Big Game from Hawk As Calipatria Won 60-20
Starting off the list is Calipatria's Dominic Hawk, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hawk rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Calipatria pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Hawk and Calipatria will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Vincent Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Juan Perez Leads Calipatria over Victory Christian Academy
Juan Perez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Calipatria to the win on Friday. Perez picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 80 yards.

Carranza Made His Presence Known in Vincent Memorial's 21-6 Victory
Patricio Carranza was instrumental in extending Vincent Memorial's winning streak to five on Friday. Carranza was dynamite, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt.
On the season, Carranza has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 165.8 passing yards per game.
