West Marion put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Tylertown Chiefs get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Trojans have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Izzy Pittman made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Pittman was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Gracie Odom was a standout: she scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kady Stringer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
