That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Lawrence Central's points. Aniyah Mckenzie was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Ryle lost, one person who can't be blamed is Quinn Eubank. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. The match was Eubank's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rosemary Miller, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lawrence Central's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ryle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Lawrence Central will be playing at home against Franklin Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Franklin Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Ryle, they will face off against Pulaski County at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
