 Lexi Miller paced Columbia's offense, picking up 15 kills. Miller got some help from  Mariah Gonzalez and her 23 assists.  Naziya Reid and  Cailyn Demagall kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
  Lauren Vannatter was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had nine  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in September of 2024.
Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wellington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Columbia has already played their next contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Midview on the 30th. As for Wellington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  3-0  loss against Firelands on the 2nd.
