Berkley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Royal Oak Ravens. Surprisingly, this marked the Bears' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Berkley's loss dropped their record down to 9-21-1. As for Royal Oak, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7-2.

Looking ahead, Berkley will square off against Seaholm/Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royal Oak, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Notre Dame Prep on the 15th.
