The Rockville Rams managed to keep up with the Magruder Colonels until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Rockville had to suffer through a rough 68-34 loss at the hands of Magruder. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rockville has scored all season.
Aiden Dabbondanza was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds for Magruder. Dabbondanza set a new season high mark in assists with six. Ethan Crandall was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Rockville bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Magruder, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockville's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Magruder, they will face off against Gaithersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Gaithersburg is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
