The Edgemont Moguls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They secured a 55-50 W over Crawford. The victory was just what Edgemont needed coming off of a 61-39 defeat in their prior matchup.
Edgemont got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Raelee Provorse out in front who scored 12 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Hadley Hollenbeck , who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Crawford still got an impressive performance from Britney Klein, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The match was Klein's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Keslyn Vogel was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Edgemont's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Crawford, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
Edgemont will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hay Springs on January 19th. As for Crawford, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Morrill at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th. Morrill is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
