St. John Lutheran came into Thursday's game looking for another win against First Academy, but Slowane Delisnor wouldn't allow it. The Eagles claimed a resounding 59-29 victory over the Saints with plenty of help from Delisnor, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 19 boards. The contest was her third in a row with at least 19 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Brashear, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 16 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

First Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for St. John Lutheran, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

First Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 43-31 victory against Lake Mary Prep on the 30th. As for St. John Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-10 defeat against St. Joseph Academy on the 30th.
