The third road  game was the charm for Spring Creek, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with  a   61-53  victory over the North Duplin Rebels  on Friday. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.
Leading Spring Creek to victory were  Brennan Chambers and  Nathan Jackson.  Chambers  dropped  a double-double on 28  points and 13  boards, while  Jackson  went 7 of 16  on his way to 19  points and six  rebounds. With that strong performance,  Chambers is now averaging an impressive 16.7 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Darius Deal, who  posted two  points and six  rebounds.

 Spring Creek will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against New Bern at 3:30  p.m.  on December 27th. As for North Duplin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wayne Country Day  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Wayne Country Day will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something North Duplin surely won't give up without a fight.
