After flying high against the Greenland Pirates last Friday, The Hackett Hornets came back down to earth. Hackett took a 32-13 bruising from Mansfield on Friday. Hackett lost against Mansfield in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 16-6 score last time.
Cole Ketchum threw for 155 yards and a touchdown. Wyatt Hester was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards.
Hackett's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mansfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Hackett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mansfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
