Cale Briggs has led Malad in runs on the season and he led the team again on Wednesday. Briggs turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Malad's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Briggs and Malad will face off against Grangeville at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
