Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Boca Raton Christian

Boca Raton Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks with points to spare, taking the game 91-76. The Blazers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sharks, too.

Leading Boca Raton Christian to victory were Joshua Good and Caleb Jeemias. Good went 11 for 21 on his way to 44 points and eight rebounds, while Jeemias went 11 of 23 en route to 31 points and three steals. Good's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was DH Cheng, who posted seven points.

Boca Raton Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Sheridan Hills Christian had strong showings from Abraham Seay, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards, and Micah Smith, who went 9 for 15 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. Seay continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xzavier LaFleur, who scored 13 points and eight boards.

Boca Raton Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points per game. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Boca Raton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-74 defeat against Morningside Academy on the 23rd. Sheridan Hills Christian has also already played their next contest, a 44-43 victory against Avant Garde Academy on the 24th.
