The Franklin Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Amador Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Franklin took a serious blow against American Canyon, falling 69-20. Franklin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.
Yasir Abernathy was Franklin's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Amador, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 74-52 walloping at the hands of El Dorado on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Amador can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 990th, while El Dorado is ranked 234th).
The losses dropped Franklin to 0-2 and American Canyon to 5-1.
