Lower Richland had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 53-21 win over the Hartsville Red Foxes. The Diamond Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Lower Richland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taelor Hiller-Johnson, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 15 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Chi?Nya Isaac, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Lower Richland was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hartsville only posted four assists.

Despite the defeat, Hartsville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaz Reyes put up 13 points.

Lower Richland's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Hartsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Lower Richland will face off against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wilson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Hartsville, they will host Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartsville is facing Crestwood at the right time seeing as Crestwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
