The Dallas Christian Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Shelton for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-17 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Dallas Christian who now have seven in a row.
Dallas Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chanel Jones, who scored six points along with ten assists and six steals. That's the first time this season that Jones posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Perkins, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Dallas Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Shelton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallas Christian will take on Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prince of Peace is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Shelton, they will be playing at home against Brook Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
