Last Friday, Linville Hill took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 58-28 win over Conestoga Christian.
Stephen Smucker and Giovanni Sejuste were among the main playmakers for Linville Hill as the former scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Sejuste's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jerome Stoltzfus, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Coventry Christian, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They fell 52-41 to Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy last Thursday. While losing is never fun, Coventry Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 546th, while Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy is ranked 243rd).
Linville Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Coventry Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
