The Antioch Christian Academy Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christ the Cornerstone Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Antioch Christian Academy has scored all season.
It was another big night for WILL JACKSON, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds for Christ the Cornerstone Academy. The game was JACKSON's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was BRICE HAYWOOD, who scored 11 points.
Antioch Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Liberty Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will head out to face Liberty Christian Academy on Friday, while Antioch Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
